Andhra Pradesh to Build 2,000 km of Roads
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu, wants to build and fix a lot of roads.
He's planning to construct 2,000 km of new roads and fix existing ones that are damaged, spending a total of 1,500 crore rupees.
He wants the new roads to be high-quality, like national highways.
The Chief Minister believes the previous government did not take good care of the roads.
He has told officials to quickly figure out which roads need help and how to build them.
Some roads might be built with the help of private companies, using a special plan called PPP.
The goal is to have great roads, even during the rainy season, and to make sure everyone knows what's happening with the construction.
Chief Minister Naidu ordered construction of 2,000 km of new roads and repairs.
Rs 1,000 crore is allocated for new roads, and Rs 500 crore for urgent repairs.
Naidu criticized the previous government for neglecting road maintenance.
Officials were directed to submit a report within 15 days detailing road needs.
Roads will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
