RDO Accused of Humiliating VRO During Aadhaar Training
Imagine you're a grown-up whose job is to help people update their ID cards, called Aadhaar.
Your boss, the RDO, wanted everyone to update these cards.
During a training session, the RDO got angry at one of the workers, the VRO, because some people hadn't updated their cards.
The VRO explained that some people had moved away for work.
However, the RDO got mad and ordered the VRO to take off his shoes in front of everyone!
The other workers were upset and complained to the boss of the RDO, who is like the head of the area, called the District Collector.
A VRO was allegedly forced to remove his footwear during an official training session.
The incident occurred during an Aadhaar updation training at the RDO office in Puttaparthi.
The RDO, Suvarna, was reportedly dissatisfied with a VRO's explanation for lagging Aadhaar updates.
