Visakhapatnam Prepares for CII Partnership Summit 2025 with Major Beautification Drive
Visakhapatnam, also known as the 'City of Destiny,' is getting a makeover!
The city is preparing to host a big international business meeting called the CII Partnership Summit in November 2025.
To make sure everything looks great for the many visitors, workers are fixing roads, painting walls and medians, planting lots of flowers and trees, and repairing sidewalks.
They are even adding beautiful artwork to some city walls and making tourist spots prettier.
The goal is to create a wonderful first impression, encouraging businesses to invest in Andhra Pradesh and highlighting the state's potential in technology and trade.
Visakhapatnam is undergoing a major beautification and infrastructure upgrade ahead of the CII Partnership Summit 2025.
Works include road revamping, painting of medians and walls, planting of flowering plants, and footpath repairs.
Mural art is being installed on city walls at a cost of Rs. 74 lakh.
Amenities at tourist spots are being improved to enhance the experience for delegates.
