Lawmakers Question Trump Sons' Pentagon Contract Windfall in Letter
Some lawmakers in the United States are worried about a very important deal.
The deal gave a big contract to the sons of the President.
The contract comes from the Pentagon, which helps protect the country.
The lawmakers wrote a letter to a special helper called the Inspector General.
In the letter, they said they are worried about corruption.
They wonder if the President's family and other leaders used their jobs to get the contract.
They think this could make the contract system less fair.
The fair system helps make sure soldiers get the best equipment.
The lawmakers want the Inspector General to look into these concerns.
It is important that leaders follow the rules.
Lawmakers sent a letter to Pentagon Inspector General Platte B. Moring III voicing concerns about corruption.
The letter questions whether the president's family and administration officials might be using their positions to sway how the Defense Department hands out awards.
