Nagaland Govt. and JCC Remain Firm on IAS Induction Dispute

Nagaland Govt. and JCC Remain Firm on IAS Induction Dispute

In Nagaland, government workers are upset about how some people are chosen to become top IAS officers.

The government says it's following old rules, but the workers, called the JCC, want only the best people from their own service to be picked.

They are even striking by not writing, which is called a 'pen down strike.'

They met with the government, but they still think their demands are super important and can't be changed.

The government spokesperson said that picking one person who isn't from their usual service has been happening for a long time and that changing the rules would need a big decision.

The workers want the government to fix it, or they will keep protesting.
