Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Launches Against iPad Pro, Windows Devices
Samsung has introduced two new high-end tablets called the Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra.
They have large, bright screens designed for watching, drawing and working.
The Ultra model has a 14.6-inch screen, while the Plus model has a 12.6-inch screen.
Both tablets come with an S Pen, so buyers do not need to purchase a stylus separately.
Samsung also added tools for multitasking and artificial intelligence.
Apple’s iPad Pro may be faster and has many professional apps.
Windows laptops and tablets can run more traditional computer programs.
Samsung’s tablets may be better for people who want a thin device for media, drawing and mobile work.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra with AMOLED displays, 120Hz refresh rates, MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processors and up to 16GB of RAM.
The S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display, while the S12+ has a 12.6-inch screen; both include an S Pen and offer IP68 protection.
Samsung promotes One UI 9, Galaxy AI and DeX for multitasking, note-taking, audio summaries and desktop-style productivity.
The iPad Pro offers stronger benchmark performance and professional apps, while Windows laptops and 2-in-1s provide broader desktop software support.
In India, the Galaxy Tab S12 series starts at Rs 1,29,999, with 5G Ultra models reaching Rs 1,84,999 before accessories.
