SEPC secures Rs 854.57 crore order from SAIL

A big Indian steel company called SAIL wants to make more steel.

It has chosen another company, SEPC, to help build part of a new plant.

The job is worth Rs 854.57 crore, which is a very large amount of money.

SEPC will build the supporting systems for a pellet plant.

A pellet plant turns iron ore into small balls called pellets, which are used to make steel.

The work will happen at SAIL's IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur.

This is part of a bigger plan to raise SAIL's steel production by 4.08 million tonnes every year.

SEPC has 32 months to finish the work.

The company shared this news through a filing on the stock exchange.
