Telangana Announces DA Hike for Employees
The Telangana government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees and pensioners.
This means they will get more money to help with the rising cost of living.
The increase is for different groups of employees, like those under the Revised Pay Scales (RPS) 2020 and 2015.
The new DA rates will be given from July 2023, but the money will be paid in February 2026.
Employees will get the extra money in their savings, and pensioners will get it with their regular pension.
The government did this to help people during the Sankranti festival.
Additionally, the Chief Minister has assured that steps will be taken to address issues in primary schools, including the payment of pending DA and the implementation of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC).
