Samsung Galaxy Watch Sleep Apnea Feature Expands to New Countries
Samsung has expanded a new health feature on its Galaxy Watch that can check for sleep apnea, a condition that affects breathing during sleep.
The feature, already available in the US, is now also available in Australia, Singapore, and 34 European countries.
The watch uses a sensor to look for signs of sleep apnea and sends the results via the Samsung Health Monitor app.
It's like having a sleep check-up on your wrist!
However, it's important to remember that the watch is not a medical device and cannot provide a diagnosis; it's only designed to offer preliminary insights.
Samsung expanded its sleep apnea detection feature to 36 new markets.
The feature monitors for signs of obstructive sleep apnea using the Galaxy Watch's BioActive Sensor.
It received CE certification for the European Economic Area, and is now available in Australia and Europe.
The feature is available via the Samsung Health Monitor app.
The Galaxy Watch is not a medical device and does not provide diagnoses.
