BMC Plans New Exotic Zone at Byculla Zoo
The BMC is planning to build a new exotic zone at the Byculla Zoo in Mumbai.
This zone will have animals from different parts of the world, like Africa, the Americas, and Australia.
There will be a special restaurant where you can eat while looking at cheetahs, giraffes, and other animals.
The zoo will also have a unique exhibit of white lions, which are not found in any other public zoo in India.
The project will cost Rs 490 crore and will take three years to complete.
The animals will be brought from other zoos around the world.
This is part of the zoo's efforts to make it more exciting and educational for visitors.
BMC plans to develop a new exotic zone at Byculla Zoo with 19 exotic species.
The project includes a five-star African-themed 'cheetah restaurant' in the middle of animal exhibits.
The zone will feature a unique white lion exhibit, the first of its kind in India.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 490 crore and will be completed in three years.
Animals will be procured from international zoos and through exchange programs within India.
