Study Reveals Sync Gaps in Indian Private Education

A new study called the Student Sync Index 2026, made by a company called Jetri, shows that students, parents, and teachers in private schools in India often don't understand each other very well.

This is called a 'sync gap'.

The study found that students use a lot of artificial intelligence (AI) for school, but parents are worried about it and want more rules before AI is used in class.

Teachers don't get enough training on AI, so they can't help students very much.

Students and teachers also have different ideas about what success means.

Students care more about getting into college and good grades, while teachers think success is about things like being consistent and setting goals.

The study also found that many students feel stressed, but parents don't always realize this.

To fix these problems, the study suggests that schools should focus more on students' emotional health, teach students and teachers how to use AI responsibly, and help students find meaning in their learning instead of just chasing good grades.
