Martin Scorsese Hosts Special Screening of India's Oscar Entry 'Homebound'
A very famous movie director from America, Martin Scorsese, put on a special showing in New York for a film from India called 'Homebound'.
The movie's director, Neeraj Ghaywan, and some of the actors were there too.
Scorsese is also helping make the movie.
This film is special because India has chosen it to compete for a big award at the Oscars!
Director Ghaywan said he never thought his movie would get this far.
He wanted to tell a story that felt personal to him and showed how important it is to tell stories about people who are often ignored, like Dalits and Adivasis in India, who don't get many movies made about them.
