Telangana Sets One-Month Deadline for Pending GO 59 Applications
Telangana has many applications from people seeking to regularise small plots of land under GO 59.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said these applications should be decided within 30 days.
District Collectors have received instructions on how to handle them.
Officials are to check land records and whether applicants qualify before making decisions.
The minister said the rules must be followed and earlier mistakes must not happen again.
Cases involving deeds that have already been issued will also be checked.
