MP Teachers Plan Delhi Protest Over ₹1,000 TET Fee

MP Teachers Plan Delhi Protest Over ₹1,000 TET Fee

Some teachers in Madhya Pradesh have been told they must take a test called TET.

They do not want to take the test under the current rules.

They are especially unhappy about paying a ₹1,000 examination fee, plus extra service charges.

Their organisations are asking teachers to protest in Delhi on August 31.

The teachers say they will not submit the application form until their concerns are considered.

They want officials to identify only the teachers who still need to take the test.

They also want an offline exam because internet and computer problems can affect rural areas.

The teachers plan to meet state leaders and request changes.
