Revanth Reddy Challenges KCR to Debate Farmers' Welfare in Assembly

In a place called Telangana in India, the Chief Minister and a former Chief Minister are arguing about helping farmers.

The Chief Minister is A. Revanth Reddy, and the former Chief Minister is K. Chandrashekhar Rao, who is also called KCR.

Mr. Reddy challenged Mr. Rao to a formal talk called a debate in the State Assembly.

He spoke at a big public meeting in a town called Sangareddy, where new smart ration cards were being given out.

Mr. Reddy said his government spent a huge amount of money to help farmers and gave them more help through a scheme called Rythu Bharosa.

He also said farm loans were forgiven and farmers got paid well for the rice they grew, plus a bonus for finely grown rice.

Mr. Reddy denied claims that there were power cuts, saying farmers get free electricity for 24 hours a day.

He also said the government gave many people jobs and is building houses called Indiramma houses for poor families.

He accused the opposition parties of spreading false stories and performing black magic.

However, the BRS and BJP leaders see things differently and do not agree with his claims.
