US Preschool Fees Cost As Much As A Maruti Brezza
A mom named Sonal Chaudhary lives in a town called Simsbury in the United States.
She wanted to find a preschool for her two-year-old daughter, Bani.
She visited a private preschool and met a staff member named Cheryl.
The school has very small classes, with two teachers for every eight kids.
The children do fun things like singing, yoga, playing, and early learning activities.
But the school costs a lot of money.
Going two days a week costs about four lakh rupees a year.
Going five days a week costs almost nine lakh rupees a year.
That is about the same price as a brand-new Maruti Brezza car in India!
Sonal shared a video about it, and people are comparing school costs in India and America.
Indian content creator Sonal Chaudhary posted an Instagram video revealing private preschool fees in Simsbury, Connecticut.
A two-day-per-week preschool programme costs around ₹4 lakh a year, while a five-day programme costs close to ₹9 lakh annually.
The ₹9 lakh annual fee for a full five-day programme is similar to the price of a new Maruti Brezza in India.
The preschool assigns two teachers to a group of just eight children and offers singing, yoga, creative play and early learning exercises.
Public education in the US is free from kindergarten through 12th grade, making preschool one of the largest early education expenses for American families.
