Congress Rally Demands Irrigation Water, Power, College Opening In Dahi
Congress leaders held a rally in Dahi about local problems.
They said an irrigation project started in 2019 is complete.
However, they said it did not provide water this year.
The area had little rainfall, and farmers reportedly suffered crop losses.
The leaders asked officials to start the project quickly.
They also wanted an approved college in Dahi to begin operating.
Farmers were also facing problems because of power cuts.
The group requested an investigation into the death of student Pawan Bamniya.
Kukshi MLA Surendra Singh Honey Baghel and Congress workers led a rally in Dahi.
Congress leaders said the Tantya Mama Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme was completed but had not supplied water this year.
