Maharashtra Sets Aside ₹25,000 Crore for Tribal Development

Maharashtra plans to spend ₹25,000 crore to help tribal communities.

The money will support development in groups of nearby villages.

The government wants people to find more jobs in their own villages.

It also hopes this will reduce the need for people to migrate elsewhere for work.

The plan will combine programs run by the Central and state governments.

Officials will prepare action plans for each area.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said Nandurbar has already shown encouraging results, especially in farming.

Education and healthcare are also important parts of the plan.

The government says it will monitor the programs to make sure the benefits reach the intended people.
