Bengal Himalayan Carnival ends with tourism run
The Bengal Himalayan Carnival is a big event that happened over three days in different places in West Bengal, India.
It was organized by groups that work in tourism, including the Himalayan Hospitality & Tourism Development Network and the Bengal tourism department.
People from all over India and Nepal came to this event to learn about and experience rural, wildlife, and adventure tourism.
The carnival showed off the best of what the Bengal Himalayas have to offer, like hospitality and different tourism models.
On the last day, in a place called Sittong, there was a special run called the 'Run for Sittong Tourism' where local people participated to show their support for sustainable tourism.
There were also fun activities like rock climbing, paragliding, and a showcase of the famous Sittong Orange Valley, which is known for its agriculture.
The event was a great way to bring people together and promote tourism in the region.
