Kim Jong Un pledges support to Putin
Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, saying he will always support him and his decisions.
Kim said their countries have a very special friendship and will work closely together in many areas.
This comes as North Korea is becoming more involved in the war in Ukraine.
Putin had also sent a message to Kim, but the contents of that message were not released.
Both leaders have talked about their strong friendship and cooperation in the past.
Kim Jong Un pledged unconditional support to Vladimir Putin and his policies in a letter published by North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency.
Kim described the relationship between North Korea and Russia as built on true comradely relations and called ties between the two countries the most precious ones.
Kim stated that close cooperation between North Korea and Russia would continue to deepen across various spheres.
The exchange comes against the backdrop of North Korea's growing role in Russia's war effort in Ukraine.
