UP Ensures Uninterrupted Power Supply During Heatwave
Imagine it was super hot in Uttar Pradesh during the summer, like the sun was trying to bake everything.
Even though it was scorching, the government made sure everyone still had electricity.
They worked hard to keep the lights on, even in the hottest places.
The power company made sure that the electricity kept flowing.
Because of the effort, they kept the power flowing for longer than usual, from cities to farms, where people could work or relax without disruption.
This was different from some other places where the power went out.
So, people in Uttar Pradesh stayed cool and could keep doing things as normal.
Uttar Pradesh maintained uninterrupted power supply during a severe heatwave in April and May 2025.
Temperatures in several eastern UP districts reached 40-45°C, with some areas exceeding 45°C.
Despite extreme heat, power supply exceeded scheduled hours in all regions of UP.
Rural areas received an average of 18.18 hours of electricity daily, while district headquarters got 23.45 hours.
The government ensured robust supply chains and continuous monitoring to maintain power distribution.
