Protest in Vasant Kunj over Ridge construction
People in Vasant Kunj, a place in South Delhi, had a protest on Sunday.
They are against building a big building on land that is part of the Ridge, which is important for the environment.
The Ridge is not officially a forest, but courts have said it's special and needs protection.
The land is about 5,353 square metres, and 4,553 square metres of it is part of the Ridge.
The building plan includes many floors and units for different people.
Some government groups say the land is for houses, but the Forest department says it's part of the Ridge.
There are legal fights going on about this.
The people protesting want to keep the Ridge safe because it helps with air pollution.
