Gadkari Reviews Highway Projects Amid Delays
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had a meeting in Delhi to check on 61 road projects in Madhya Pradesh.
He told everyone to finish the delayed projects on time.
The projects are delayed because of problems like getting land or permissions.
Gadkari said to use modern ways to move trees instead of cutting them for roads.
He also said roads with tolls should be of good quality.
Meanwhile, commuters on the Secunderabad–Medchal corridor are facing long delays and safety risks because of unfinished road and flyover works.
The Confederation of Resident Welfare Associations (CoRWA) wrote a letter to Gadkari asking him to personally review the situation and fix the problems.
