Patient Discharged After 10‑Day ICU Care Post Delhi Protest
A 21‑year‑old woman was hurt during a protest in Delhi on July 20.
She was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where doctors saved her life and kept her on a breathing machine for a week.
After getting better, she was moved to a regular ward and could walk and eat on her own.
She was discharged on July 30, feeling healthy.
The protest was about a leaked exam paper, and the police used sticks and tear gas to stop the crowd.
Rahul Gandhi, a leader in Parliament, said the police should be investigated by a special committee.
The government also passed a new law to stop exam paper leaks.
21‑year‑old patient discharged from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after 10 days of ICU care following protest‑related injury.
Patient was resuscitated, ventilated, then weaned and moved to nursing ward; now fully conscious, ambulatory, and stable.
