Apple Rolls Out iOS 27 With Smarter Siri, Parental Controls
Apple has started releasing a large group of software updates.
The biggest change is a smarter version of Siri called Siri AI.
It can understand more context, see what is on a screen, and help with tasks.
It can also use information from apps such as Messages, Mail, and Photos.
Parents now have more tools to decide what children can see, use, and share.
These tools can require approval for websites and new contacts.
Apple also says many everyday actions should work faster.
The updates include changes to photos, browsing, health, maps, and other Apple products.
Siri AI adds context awareness, screen understanding, broader knowledge, and system-wide actions across Apple devices.
New parental controls let families manage children’s apps, websites, contacts, communications, and screen time.
Apple says app launches, photo loads, and AirDrop transfers can be significantly faster under the updates.
Additional changes affect Photos, Safari, Messages, iCloud Shared Albums, Health, Maps, AirPods, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.
iOS 27 is available for iPhone 11 and newer, while Apple Intelligence requires iPhone 15 Pro or later.
