Liquor worth Rs 10.17 lakh seized in Palghar
The police in Palghar, Maharashtra, stopped a tempo on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway and found liquor worth Rs 10.17 lakh that was being transported illegally from Daman.
The driver, Kishore Bhika Baviskar, was arrested.
The police are still looking for the other people involved, who are Amit Kumar Shukla Pandit, Gorab Gosale Monu, and Suraj Chaubey.
The liquor was supposed to be delivered to Dhule.
The police have started a case against them under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.
