VB-G RAM G Act Aims to Strengthen Rural Employment
The government is proposing a new law called the VB-G RAM G Act to improve jobs and infrastructure in rural areas.
Some people were worried that this new law might weaken the existing rural jobs law, but officials said that's not true.
They explained that the new law will protect minimum wages and help build better roads, schools, and other important things in villages.
It will also involve local village councils in planning and make sure money is given to states in a fair way.
The law aims to get more people working in farming and related activities, which is important because India has a lot of people but sometimes not enough workers in agriculture.
The VB-G RAM G Act aims to strengthen rural infrastructure and employment generation.
Minimum wages will be fully protected under the proposed Act.
The Act seeks to involve all three tiers of Panchayati Raj institutions in decentralised planning.
Rule-based allocations to States are proposed to improve predictability in fund flows.
The Act aims to facilitate re-engagement of labour in agriculture and allied rural activities.
