NCRTC Adds 52 Trains to Alleviate Kanwar Yatra Traffic
The Kanwar Yatra is a big pilgrimage that brings many people to Haridwar.
Because of this, roads get very busy.
The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) decided to add 52 more trains each day on the Namo Bharat line.
These trains will run every 8 minutes instead of every 10, making it easier for commuters, students, and office workers to travel.
The extra trains will run from July 30 to August 14.
Road closures and parking problems might happen, but the NCRTC will let people know about them.
The Central Industrial Security Force and the Uttar Pradesh State Security Force are helping keep everything safe.
NCRTC will run 52 extra daily Namo Bharat train trips from July 30 to Aug 14.
Frequency increases from every 10 minutes to every 8 minutes between Sarai Kale Khan and Modipuram.
The change aims to ease congestion caused by the Kanwar Yatra pilgrimage in Haridwar.
Current corridor averages 100,000 daily riders; additional trips expected to support commuters, students, office workers.
Road closures and parking disruptions may occur; NCRTC will inform commuters and has support from CISF and UPSSF.
