Cochin Shipyard Q3 Profit Declines 18%

Cochin Shipyard, a big Indian company that builds ships, recently announced its results for the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26.

The company made less profit this quarter compared to the same time last year, with a decrease of 18%.

However, they still made more money overall because they sold more ships and services, which was a 17.6% increase.

The company also spent more money, which is why their profit went down.

To make shareholders happy, they announced a dividend, which is like a small bonus payment.

Additionally, they are buying a part of a Dutch company called Conoship to help them design better ships and are teaming up with another company to work on electric boats and energy storage.

This shows that even though they had a tough quarter, they are planning for a better future.
