Nashik Woman Allegedly Duped ₹77,000 In Occult Ritual

A woman wanted to marry her boyfriend but said he refused to marry her.

She then met a person who claimed he could help arrange the marriage through an occult ritual.

The woman reportedly travelled to Nashik and paid him ₹77,000.

The ritual allegedly took place at a crematorium late at night.

It reportedly involved ashes, lemons and puffed rice.

The marriage did not happen afterward.

When she asked for her money back, she said she was threatened and assaulted.

She contacted an anti-superstition organisation and the police.

Police arrested the alleged occult practitioner and his associate.
