Panvel Camp Screens 266 Women for Cervical Cancer

Panvel’s civic corporation held a free health camp for women.

It took place at D.B. Patil School as part of a city campaign.

Doctors and health workers offered checks for many health problems.

These included diabetes, high blood pressure, eye and dental problems, and some cancers.

A total of 266 women had a Pap smear test to screen for cervical cancer.

Officials said the camp was meant to help women get advice and tests in one place.

The corporation also announced three more camps.

They were scheduled for Kalamboli, Kamothe, and Kharghar from October 8 to 10.
