SEBI Warns Against Unregistered Online Bond Platforms
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has warned investors to be careful when using online platforms to buy and sell corporate bonds.
Some platforms are not registered with SEBI, which means they might not follow the rules and could put investors' money at risk.
SEBI has made it easy for platforms to register, and there are now 18 registered platforms where investors can safely trade bonds.
Also, be wary of platforms promising unusually high guaranteed returns.

Unregistered OBPPs may violate Companies Act, Sebi Act, and securities distribution regulations
Currently, 18 registered OBPPs allow retail investors to buy and sell corporate bonds online
