IOC Panel to Review Female Issues, Protects Experts' Identities
The Olympics are making some changes!
The IOC, led by Kirsty Coventry, is forming groups to improve the games.
One group will protect female athletes and is keeping the names of its members secret.
Another will look at which sports are in the Olympics.
A third team will focus on making money, and the last group will work on the Youth Olympics.
These teams will help the Olympics stay exciting and deal with new challenges.
The IOC is forming a panel to address female gender issues in sports.
The names of the panel members are being kept confidential.
The panel is part of a larger initiative called "Fit for the future."
Other working groups will review sports programs, commercial issues, and the Youth Olympics.
