Parth Jindal Named Chairman as JSW MG Pursues Expansion

JSW MG Motor India has chosen Parth Jindal as its new chairman.

He started the job immediately after the company’s board approved the appointment on Sunday.

Jindal already knew the company because he had been on its board since the joint venture began.

He will help the company make more vehicles and introduce new models.

The company is especially interested in electric and plug-in hybrid cars.

It also wants to use more parts made in India instead of imported parts.

Production at its Gujarat factory is planned to increase over the next few years.

JSW MG says it has sold more than 150,000 electric vehicles, including the MG Windsor, which it calls India’s best-selling EV.
