Congress Appoints Ganesh Godiyal as Uttarakhand Unit Chief
The Congress party has a new leader for its team in Uttarakhand, Ganesh Godiyal.
He is taking over from Karan Mahara, who will now help with important party decisions at a higher level.
The party's main leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, also chose Pritam Singh to lead the campaign team and Harak Singh Rawat to manage election preparations.
