Waaree Solar Secures 288-MWp Texas Solar Order
Waaree Solar Americas, a company that makes solar panels, just got a big order from Sabancı Renewables.
They will provide solar panels for two large solar projects in Texas.
These panels are special because they can handle really bad weather like hail and strong winds.
The panels will start being delivered in 2026.
This is a big deal because it's the first time these specific panels are being used in the US.
Both companies are excited about this project because it helps make clean energy that's strong and reliable.
Waaree Solar Americas secured a 288-MWp solar module order from Sabancı Renewables for two Texas projects.
The order includes the first US deployment of Waaree’s 620-Wp bifacial solar modules.
The modules will be used in the Pepper Solar Project in Waco and the Lucky 7 Solar Project in Brashear.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
The modules feature high-strength front glass designed to withstand severe weather conditions in Texas.
