Indian Markets Set for Positive Start on 3 August
The Indian stock market is expected to start the week on a good note.
The main indexes, called Sensex and Nifty 50, should open higher because oil prices are falling.
A special index called Gift Nifty also shows a small jump.
Last week, the market closed a little higher, with Sensex at about 78,095 and Nifty at about 24,384.
Analysts say the market will stay above certain support levels, but it might hit resistance around 78,300 for Sensex and 24,350 for Nifty.
The Bank Nifty, which tracks banks, finished a bit lower but still close to its support level.
Overall, traders are watching these numbers to decide if they should buy or sell stocks.
Sensex and Nifty 50 expected to open higher on Monday, 3 August, amid easing crude oil prices.
Gift Nifty indicated a gap‑up start, trading around 24,589.5, 137 points above Nifty futures’ previous close.
Friday’s close saw Sensex at 78,094.64 (+0.21%) and Nifty 50 at 24,383.60 (+0.27%).
Technical analysts project support at 77,800‑77,600 for Sensex and 24,200 for Nifty, with resistance near 78,300‑78,500 and 24,350‑24,400 respectively.
Bank Nifty finished slightly lower at 57,148, with key support at 56,600‑56,700 and resistance at 57,500‑57,600.
