Green Pencil & Imperial Auto Launch Four Eco-Libraries in Faridabad Schools
Imagine schools getting special reading rooms that are also super green!
The Green Pencil Foundation and Imperial Auto Industries have opened four of these 'eco-libraries' in Faridabad.
These aren't just places for books; they are designed to teach kids about nature and how to take care of our planet.
The libraries use furniture made from bamboo and have gardens made from recycled bottles.
They also have special bins for sorting trash and machines that provide reusable pads for girls.
The goal is to help students learn about sustainability, climate change, and become helpers for the environment.
These libraries also support big global goals like quality education and fighting climate change.
Four eco-friendly libraries have been launched in Faridabad government schools by the Green Pencil Foundation and Imperial Auto Industries.
These libraries feature bamboo furniture, recycled materials, waste segregation bins, and sanitary pad vending machines.
The initiative aims to integrate environmental sustainability and climate action into education.
The project aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national missions like Vikshit Bharat.
School principals have lauded the initiative for promoting reading, sustainability, and responsible global citizenship among students.
