Ankusapur land dispute moves towards closure with joint demarcation

Ankusapur land dispute moves towards closure with joint demarcation

There was a village called Ankusapur where people were having a big argument about land.

The argument was between the farmers and the forest department.

The fight had been going on for a very long time.

Government officers came to the village to help fix the problem.

They walked around the land together with the farmers to see who used which part.

The officers explained that a large piece of land, 684 acres, officially belonged to the forest department.

They also said that the rest of the land belonged to the farmers who had special papers for it.

The farmers heard the explanation and said they agreed with it.

Everyone decided to do a careful measuring survey together to draw clear lines on what belongs to whom.

After that survey is done, the long fight about the land should finally come to an end.
