Andhra Pradesh Focuses on Development Projects
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, has asked all MPs from the state to work together to get money from the central government for important projects.
These projects include building the new capital city, Amaravati, and other big development plans.
The MPs were told to be very careful during the Budget Session in Parliament to make sure Andhra Pradesh gets what it needs.
The Chief Minister also talked about some special projects like Polavaram and Purvodaya, which need a lot of money.
He said that almost Rs 12,000 crore is still waiting to be given by the central government for the Polavaram project.
The MPs were also told to make sure that the state's case on water-sharing with Telangana is presented strongly.
Additionally, the Chief Minister visited the Nagari constituency to push for the completion of the Galeru–Nagari irrigation project, which is crucial for the region's development.
He directed officials to move ahead with a phased execution plan.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav conducted a Public Grievance Redressal System programme, assuring prompt action on public issues and emphasizing transparent governance.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed MPs to mobilise central funds for Andhra Pradesh's development projects, including Amaravati as the capital.
