Bharat Vikas Group Defies Ban at MGM College
In Indore, a company called Bharat Vikas Group (BVG) started working at MGM College even though the government and the college said they couldn't.
The college and the government are upset because BVG was removed from other colleges before for not following rules.
The college is not letting BVG staff work, and the government says they won't pay for any expenses BVG makes.
This is causing a big problem because the college needs help with cleaning and security, but no one is sure what will happen next.
Bharat Vikas Group (BVG) started operations at MGM College despite bans from the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and the college administration.
Guards and housekeeping staff in BVG uniforms reported for duty, causing confusion and raising questions about HITES's handling of the handover.
Dean Dr. Arvind Ghanghoriya stated that MGM College refuses to recognize BVG and warned HITES that no payments would be processed if BVG continues working.
The DME issued a second warning to HITES, highlighting BVG’s prior removal from five government medical colleges in 2018–19 for serious lapses.
The DME clarified that any expenses incurred by BVG would not be reimbursed, placing operational responsibility solely on HITES.
