Indian single malt whisky reaches 5 lakh cases in 2025

Indian single malt whisky has grown a lot in the last few years.

In 2025, it reached about 5 lakh cases, which is a big increase.

Most of this growth is because of Indian brands like Amrut, Rampur, and Paul John.

These brands make up 92% of the market.

Foreign brands like Diageo and Pernod Ricard have a smaller share.

The prices of these whiskies range from ₹2,300 to ₹8,000.

People are liking Indian single malts more because of their good quality and unique taste.

There are also imported whiskies, which add up to 3.5 lakh cases, making the total market around 8.5 lakh cases.

This shows that Indians are really starting to enjoy premium whiskies.
