Timothy Busfield Faces Child Abuse Charges
A famous actor and director named Timothy Busfield is in trouble.
Police in New Mexico want to arrest him because two twin boys said he touched them in a bad way when they were 7 and 8 years old.
This happened while they were working together on a TV show called 'The Cleaning Lady'.
The boys were scared to tell anyone because Timothy was the director and they called him 'Uncle Tim'.
The boys have been having bad dreams and feel very worried.
The police started looking into this in November 2024 after a doctor reported it.
Timothy's lawyer and agent haven't said anything yet.
The TV show's company, Warner Bros., looked into it too but couldn't find proof.
Timothy said he might have picked the boys up and tickled them, but he hasn't said anything else about the bad touches.
Timothy Busfield, a 68-year-old actor and director, faces two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse.
The alleged abuse occurred on the set of 'The Cleaning Lady' between November 2022 and spring 2024.
The victims, now 11-year-old twin boys, reported being touched inappropriately multiple times, including their private areas.
The boys were afraid to speak up due to Busfield's authority as the director and his nickname 'Uncle Tim'.
Warner Bros. investigated the allegations but could not corroborate them, and initial police investigation did not meet acceptance criteria.
