Karnataka Ministers Clash Over Authority
There's a big argument between some important leaders in Karnataka, a state in India.
One leader, H D Kumaraswamy, said that another leader, D K Shivakumar, was interfering in the work of the Home Minister, G Parameshwara.
Shivakumar had met with police officers in a place called Ballari, and Kumaraswamy thought he shouldn't have done that because it's not his job.
Parameshwara, the Home Minister, said that Shivakumar was just doing his job as a responsible minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
Kumaraswamy also said that he doesn't have experience with bad things like stealing or cheating, and he thinks Shivakumar does.
Shivakumar said he has more experience and knows how to get things done.
It's like a big fight over who is the boss and who can do what.
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara rejected JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy's allegation that Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar interfered in the Home department's affairs.
Kumaraswamy accused Shivakumar of interfering by convening a meeting of police officers in Ballari, questioning his authority to do so.
Parameshwara defended Shivakumar, stating that as a Deputy Chief Minister and cabinet minister, he has the responsibility to represent the government.
Kumaraswamy criticized Shivakumar on social media, claiming that loot, extortion, and fencing scams are not part of his experience and accusing Shivakumar of encroaching on another minister's portfolio.
Shivakumar responded by asserting his administrative experience and stating that he knows how to get things done.
