POCSO-Accused Teacher Dies After Jumping From Bengaluru SP Complex

A teacher named Shashidhar was accused of sexually assaulting several children.

He was arrested after a complaint was filed under a child-protection law called POCSO.

Police took him for a medical examination and later brought him to an office complex for more procedures.

He was on the third floor while his fingerprints were being recorded.

Police said he pushed a constable while being taken back to a police vehicle.

They said he then ran toward a railing and jumped.

He suffered serious injuries and later died in a district hospital.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
