Report Reveals Underdeveloped Digital Learning Access in India
Imagine schools are trying to make big changes, like letting students choose what they learn and using the internet more.
A new report checked how things are going.
Many schools are doing well with things like training teachers and letting students pick their classes.
But, some important things are not happening as much.
For example, not many schools have good internet for learning.
Also, it's hard for schools in some areas to make these changes.
The report says schools need help and more freedom to make these changes happen.
A report reveals that digital learning access and other key reforms in Indian higher education are underdeveloped.
Curriculum flexibility and faculty training have seen widespread adoption, with 90% and 92% of institutions implementing them, respectively.
Student mobility and experiential learning lag, with only 36% of institutions offering multiple entry/exit options.
Investment in digital infrastructure and use of government e-learning platforms remains low, at 6% and 4%, respectively.
Regional disparities exist, with some states reporting digital gaps and poor institutional capacity, hindering progress.
