UP to Construct 202 km Green Roads with Innovative MSS+ Technology
The Uttar Pradesh government is building new roads using a special method called MSS+ technology.
This technology, created by scientists, helps build roads in an eco-friendly way.
It means they don't need to heat up the materials, making it better for the environment.
About 202 kilometers of roads are being built using this method.
The roads built this way are strong and last long, and they also help reduce pollution.
This is part of a bigger plan to make things more sustainable.
The technology was developed after a couple of years of research, and the first road using it was built in 2022 and has done very well so far.

MSS+ technology, developed by CSIR-CRRI, eliminates the need to heat materials.
The technology is being used under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
Roads built with MSS+ have shown superior quality and reduce carbon emissions.
The technology was developed in 2021 and has been performing well since 2022.
