Woman Seriously Injured in Alleged Delhi Acid Attack
A woman was walking to work in Delhi early Tuesday morning.
Police say her former live-in partner came up behind her and threw acid at her after their relationship ended.
She was badly hurt on her face, chest and thigh.
She first went to one hospital and was then taken to another for more care.
An elderly man tried to help her and was also slightly burned.
Police say the attacker ran away.
