Karnataka public property Bill sparks RSS targeting row

Karnataka public property Bill sparks RSS targeting row

The Karnataka government made a new rule, called the Public Property Bill, about using public places like parks, roads, buildings, and playgrounds.

This rule says people and groups must ask for permission first.

If they use these places without asking, they could go to jail or pay a fine.

The fine is bigger if someone breaks the rule more than once.

Some people from a political group called the BJP say the government made this rule to stop another group called the RSS.

The government's leaders say that is not true and the rule is for everyone.

They say the RSS name is not even written in the Bill.

They also said the Bill will be discussed and debated before it becomes a law.
