Abhishek Kapoor's Journey From Actor to National Award-Winning Director

Abhishek Kapoor is a very popular movie maker in India.

A long time ago, in 1996, he started as an actor in a movie called Uff!

Yeh Mohabbat.

But he soon realized that he really wanted to make movies instead of acting in them.

In 2006, he directed his first movie, Aryan: Unbreakable, which did not do very well at the box office.

Then in 2008, he made Rock On!!, a movie about friends who bring their old rock band back together.

That movie became a big hit and even won a National Film Award, a very special honor in India.

Later, he made other well-known movies like Kai Po Che!, Fitoor, Kedarnath, and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.
